We enjoyed every minute.

Peter and Adrienne. In 2006 we got an email from our Sydney bush-care co-ordinator, showing the work that was being done by South West Rocks Dune Care, and inviting us to go along. We did not know what to expect, but found the week thoroughly worth while. In fact we consider ourselves lucky to have been able to return for two or three weeks every year since.

Arakoon house is a beautiful place to stay. Time after work is great with drinks on the verandah and often dinner at night is a shared meal. We have made many new friends there. The local SWR members are hospitable, too. And of course there is a good sense of achievement in seeing the next hectare being cleared of weeds, and in seeing the marked improvements over the years.
